After leaving the United States Army, Broker-Owner, Melissa Cofield-Johnson purchased her first home at age 25; sold it, day 1 of listing, and has never looked back. Patient, caring, knowledgeable, and honorable are just a few other expressions that have been used to describe Melissa’s process with her clients and peers.

According to Melissa, “Real estate allows me to marry my 2 passions: educating & investing…I like to spend all the time necessary for my clients to understand & feel comfortable with the process.” It is wonderful when everything works out as planned, but often, that is not the reality in real estate. Melissa will not back down, or work against the ultimate goal. She has been innovative in finding ways to get both sides to remember the “big picture” and rationalize through disagreements.

Melissa is also highly invested in the growth and success of her agents. She insists on being available and approachable. She has quite a few irons in the fire, but when she’s not working hard for her clients, you can find Melissa relaxing at home with her family. Her favorite past times include reading (mystery novels), traveling, and dominating any board or card game opponent.
